Hi, I’m Maria!
I’ve always had an adventurous spirit but didn’t find my passion for the outdoors until I laid roots on the West Coast in 2017. Since then, I’ve been tackling my never-ending bucket list with my camera in tow and inspiring others to do the same!
For me, time stands still when I’m spending time outdoors, researching travel destinations or putting together an epic itinerary.
My goal with Sand to Summit is to provide helpful resources for others to take the leap in exploring the unknown!
Staying earthbound
My identity is deeply rooted in my time spent outdoors. I feel my strongest when summiting a new peak, happiest when rolling down the windows to embark on a new adventure and at ease while circling a campfire. The mountains can instill confidence, rivers a sense of peace and nothing cures a hangover quite like an ocean plunge.
